Trying out all pieces of ocean is part of surfing. Today, I tried this bit of surf at Redondo Beach.
Unfortunately, the surf was walled and smacking sand. My back can testify to that.
Apparently, to surf this spot requires a massive storm or a close hurricane to make huge swells that will break somewhere away this bowl-shaped shore.
I do not recommend this beach for most days of the year.
